About the Tanners
The Tanner family is a TV family from the hit 1980's/1990's tv show "Full House". What started out as one man raising his 3 daughters on his own with the help of his brother in law and best friend turned into a family of 9 people and 1 dog over the 8 years Full House was in production. The Tanner Family was considered the Brady Bunch of the 1990's with their moral's and family hugs at the end of each episode. Over the 8 years the show was in production the Tanner family became America's favourite family, by the show's end it was being shown in over 100 Countries in all different languages and families all over the world could relate to the Tanners and their situations.
Daniel 'Danny' Earnest Tanner (played by Bob Saget) has a younger sister Wendy and was married to Pamela who died in a car crash after Michelle was born. Over the 8 years Danny had sevral girlfriends that never really amounted to anything serious. His most serious and possibly well known girlfriend is Vicky Larson (played by Gail Edwards) who he mets in Season 5 as she fills in for Rebecca Donaldson (Jesse's wife) while she is on Maternity leave from their show they co-host togheter "Wake Up, San Francisco". Danny asks Vicky to marry him in Season 6 but in Season 7 Vicky takes a job in New York. Danny never get's married again.
Joseph 'Joey' Gladstone (played by Dave Coulier) is the best friend of Danny, they met in 1968 when a kid in junior high was picking on Danny and Joey told a joke to make fun of the kid and when the kid told the teacher Danny came to Joey's defense and said that Joey wasn't picking on the other kid and ever since they've been best friends forever. Joey isn't your normal adult; he lives for cartoons like Scooby-Doo and Popeye, in fact Joey is a kid at heart, he'd rather watch cartoons then do anything else. He's also a comedian and performed regulary at Jesse's club "The Smash Club" and has appeared on Star Search.
Jesse 'Hermes' Katsapolis (played by John Stamos) is a Elvis loving rock n roll singing guy who is obsessed with his hair and looking good all the time. He is the proud father of Nicky & Alex and married to Rebecca. He moved in with the Tanners when his sister Pam died (who was married to Danny) to help raise D.J, Stephanie and Michelle and is now getting help from the three Tanner girls to raise his kids. Over the years Jesse has had many jobs, his most famous one being the lead singer of the group "Jesse & the Rippers" and being the new owner of the night club "The Smash Club" where he himself has performed with the Rippers.
Rebecca 'Becky' Donaldson-Katsopolis (played by Lori Loughlin) was born in Valentine, Nebraska in the 1960's and went to an all girls school. She is knwon for having a short temper and a bad singing voice, how ever on some occasions she is able to sing quite well. She is the producer of Wake Up, San Francisco, the show she co-hosts with Danny. Jesse, Becky, Nicky & Alex all live in the Attic of the Tanner house hold.
Donna 'D.J' Jo Tanner (played by Candace Cameron/Candace Cameron-Bure) was born on February 9th, 1977, she attened Fraser Street Elemantary School and Van Atta Junior High. D.J loves her younger sisters but more often then not they get on her nerves and she hates it when they pry into her private life. She has a good head on her shouldars and even though Danny places many limits on what she can and can't do she loves her family and wouldn't change them for the world. She's had many boyfriends but none more serious than Steve Hale.
Stephanie 'Steph' Judith Tanner (played by Jodie Sweetin) was born on January 14th, 1982 and some times suffers from 'middle sibling syndrome'. She is a good dancer at both ballet and jazz ballet, pitched on her dad's baseball team for two years and played Soccer. Like D.J; Stephanie is prone to getting herself into trouble, at the age of 6 she marries her best friend Harry because no one in the family would pay attention to her, she runs away from home, drives Joey's car into the kitchen and gets Kimmy Gibbler to pierce her ears. For her 10th Birthday Danny got Tommy Page sing to her.
Michelle 'Munchkin' Elizabeth Tanner (played by Mary-Kate Olsen & Ashley Olsen alternating) was born on November 18th, 1986. She is the youngest Tanner and quite often get's away with anything. She tries to have a pool party in the kitchen when she was little, she runs away from home, tries to marry D.J's boyfriend Steve and becomes a bossy boots when the family visit Disney World. During her younger years she was a mean lean cleaning machine just like her father but as she got older she didn't care much for the dirt and cleanliness of the Tanner house hold. She has played Soccer and failed, kicking a goal in the opposite teams goals instead of her own teams.
Nickolas 'Nicky' and Alexander 'Alex' Katsopolis (played by Blake and Dylan Tuomy-Wilhoit) share their birthday with Michelle. You can usually find Nicky wearing red and Alex wears blue, they also repeat each others saying by adding a double to the front, they call each other only by "brother". It's not known which twin is older.
Kimberly 'Kimmy' Louise Gibbler (played by Andrea Barber), although not a rightful member of the Tanner family she may as well be one, she spends 90% of her time at the Tanners, either annoying Danny or Jesse. Kimmy is D.Js best friend since kindergarten, they do practically everything together. Kimmy is known as an idiot in the Tanner house hold but she has her moments, when D.J didn't have a date for her Prom Kimmy called D.Js ex boyfriend Steve. She is often reffered to by Stephanie as Chicken Legs and is known to have smelly feet.
